Product overview
Application: This series of rod ends is available in standard lengths, or in custom lengths. Standard XX and XY dimensions are show in the table above.
Ball: low carbon steel, surface hardened for wear resistance and plated for corrosion resistance.
Construction: per SAE specification J1120, Type B.
Housing: low carbon steel. Plain, painted or plated finishes are available.
Mounting Stud: an optional feature specified by adding an "S" after the nominal size (i.e., MPM-6S).
Race: this series features a reinforced nylon race that is injection molded between the ball and forged housing. The nylon race resists vibration, exhibits low hydroscopic properties and helps dampen structural vibration and noise.
Stem Threads: both coarse and fine threads are available. Specify left hand stem threads by adding an "L" before the "-" (i.e., MPML-6).
