Product overview

Construction: The ASFM-series features a close fit between the ball and the low carbon steel housing that allows the housing member itself to act as the bearing race. The ball is low carbon steel, surface hardened for wear resistance and plated for corrosion resistance. The housing is plated and dichromate treated for corrosion resistance. Mounting Stud: an optional feature specified by adding an "S" after the nominal size (i.e., ASFM-6S), mounting studs are made from low carbon steel, and are plated and dichromate treated for corrosion resistance.
